Student projects produced at the Planning, Design, Implementation Course of the Urban Space Organization and Design Program of Yıldız Technical University, Department of Urban and Regional Planning were exhibited in TAK-Design Workshop Kadıköy. Within the scope of the course, Kadikoy Kurbagalidere Basin in 2014, Kadikoy Kosuyolu in 2016 and Kadikoy Windmill in 2018 was studied under the leadership of Assoc. Dr. Nilgün Çolpan ERKAN and Assoc. Dr. Prof. Esin AKTUĞLU. The course focuses on the design methods and solutions of the problems identified, and the project topics are diversified in areas such as environmentally conscious design, energy conservation, walkability, production of social reinforcement areas and landscape design.
Sara Ercan, Bilge Özdemir, Hüseyin Buğra Küçükoğlu, Firdevs Çisel Solak’s projects from Kadıkoy Windmill (2018), Sinem Aydoğdu Bıçak, Emine Karataş’s projects from KAdıkoy Kosuyolu (2016) and Betül Dinçer, Sibel Yıldız’s projects from Kadikoy Kurbagalidere Basin (2014) took place in the exhibition, which was held between 28 February and 7 March 2019 and attracted great attention from municipal employees. These projects have been presented to the students of YTU Faculty of Architecture and will be exhibited in the corridor of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning until May 2019.
