We have the pleasure to inform you that the call for abstracts of the 48th ISOCARP Congress in Perm, Russia, September 2012, is open now.
The Congress entitled Fast Forward: Planning in a (hyper) dynamic urban context will stand on the following three pillars:
1. Dynamic urban change: growth/decline; environmental and socio-political change; disasters.
2. Planning fast forward in Russia - the transformation of Russia's planning culture, system and education.
3. World Planners' Forum for international best practice, innovative methods and advanced theory on any relevant topic of planning.
On top of that there will be technical seminars, keynote speeches by eminent speakers and of course interesting tours.
The website will be regularly updated in the coming months.
Please inform your colleagues on the congress.
Abstract submission can start immediately.
Important Dates:
30 April 2012: deadline abstract submission
31 May 2012: selection results to authors
9 July 2012: deadline full paper submission
