Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Zeynep Gül Ünal, a faculty member of our department, and with the participation of our administrative staff, we conducted our first emergency desk-top coordination drill. As part of the drill, firefighting, evacuation, search, and rescue operations—all addressing potential damage caused by an earthquake—were simulated at the tabletop coordination level.
We will continue to conduct drills to ensure we are prepared to take the necessary precautions against potential disasters and hazards.
